Yin and Chinese Medicine for Anxiety May Sat 9, 2026 Geelong, VIC
A 2-hour immersive workshop
Anxiety is not just something we think.
It’s something we feel in the body.
Tension, restlessness, tightness in the chest, shallow breath,
these are all ways the body holds and expresses it.
In this 2-hour immersion, we explore body-based ways to meet anxiety through practice and understanding.
Through Yin Yoga, somatic practices, Chinese Medicine, and meditation, you’ll be guided to slow down, feel more clearly, and begin working with your body rather than against it.
Together, we explore how the body holds tension
and how it can begin to soften
when we learn how to work with it, and care for it.
It’s about developing a deeper relationship with your body, and learning ways to support it through moments of stress, overwhelm, or imbalance.
What you’ll experience
A guided Yin Yoga and Qigong practice to release held tension
Simple somatic tools to support regulation
An introduction to Chinese Medicine perspectives on anxiety
Meditation and breath-based awareness practices
A space to slow down, feel, and reconnect
